Brooklyn Old Convent Apartments offers modern, self-contained, large serviced apartments in a tranquil waterside setting. We are easily accessible by road and rail and we cater for large and small pleasure boats with our own deep water marina. We cater for all types of guest needs including weekend getaways, work escapes, romantic stays, reunions, family excursions,  business trips, farmers holidays and fishing and boating weekends or visting children at boarding school.

Our versatile and inviting complex has been awarded a 3.5 star rating by the AAAT. In addition to our high standard of accommodation you can enjoy the use of our excellent facilities including our pool, BBQ, marina and half tennis court. All of our apartments are sunny and north facing with self contained kitchens, TV's & DVD players, private BBQs and all modern conveniences, most also have spas and balconies with views.

Brooklyn is perfect for all water-based activities such as boating, fishing and water skiing. Hire boats are readily available and you can catch a water taxi from our marina to the local restaurants and islands. There are also ferries so you can visit unique places like Dangar Island. The lower Hawkesbury River is a beautiful area with plenty of places to explore by boat.

There is an abundance of things to do in the Brooklyn area. Top quality restaurants cater to all tastes and budgets. There are parks, walks, an enclosed sandy swimming pool, shops, cafes, a club and a hotel. You can visit the reptile park, Somersby Falls, wildlife sanctuaries and walk the historic Great Northern Road. Magic places like Berowra Waters, Patonga, the Hunter Valley and Wisemans Ferry are all in easy reach by boat or car.  

Our apartments offer a variety of panoramic views over the Hawkesbury River and Long Island down to the Hawkesbury River Road Bridges. Our outlooks create a relaxed and tranquil atmosphere with still water reflections and boats on the moorings nearby, while in the quiet evenings the reflection of distant orange lights from the Freeway Bridge adds to the charm of the superb water views and reflections.
